Connect to MCP
Hostly provides an MCP server, so you can manage your workspaces and services from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets assistants use tools provided by external services.
Once connected, you can ask the assistant to, for example:
- list your workspaces, services, and their current status
- deploy a new service or update an existing one
- start, stop, pause, or restart a service
- read service logs and health information to diagnose problems
- manage secrets, registry images, external registries, and domains
- check the resource usage of a workspace
Server URL
All assistants use the same server URL:
text
https://api.hostly.ninja/mcpSign-in and permissions
You sign in with your Hostly account when you connect the assistant. The assistant then acts on your behalf and can do exactly what your account is allowed to do in each workspace. It cannot access workspaces you are not a member of.
Actions that change or delete something, such as deleting a service or a secret, cannot be undone by the assistant. Review what the assistant is about to do before you approve a tool call.

Hostly is not yet listed in the app or connector directories of the assistants. Add it as a custom connection instead:
